Quebec on Film

A while back when I was about 6 months pregnant, my husband and I had taken a road trip from New York all the way up to Quebec,Canada for a babymoon. Many memories of our relationship was built on road trips. We felt what better way to celebrate the last of “us” as we know it than with a road trip. We chose Quebec because it was a reasonable driving distance from New York and it gave us a feeling of being in Europe without having to hop on a More…

2014 in Review | Hello 2015!

If you looked at my blog in 2014 (and 2013), you might assume that I haven’t done any work in a long while. The reality is that I’ve actually been fortunate to shoot quite a lot of beautiful weddings and heartfelt shoots in between welcoming my first child to the world. It has been a whirlwind year and I just wanted to share a little of it with you. In the Fall of 2013, I discovered that I was pregnant. Being an ambitious workaholic, I continued working up until I delivered. I flew from NY to More…

Maui Wedding at Haiku Mills

When my sister got engaged, I knew exactly where I would suggest she get married… it would be no other than Haiku Mills in Maui (a former sugarcane mill that got salvaged and turned into a private space). The Talented Anna Kim Photography & her wonderful Associate, More…

Awe Shucks…Love & Thank You’s

Some define a successful life with monetary value, other through social status, careers, etc… I  define mine through living a life of gratitude (no matter the circumstances) and making a small difference in everything I do. I think as More…

WeddingChicks Hand Picked Vendor & Other Behind the Scene Thoughts

Last week I received an email from Jocey at WeddingChicks.com that I have been Hand Picked to be a featured New York vendor for WeddingChicks. This honor is awarded to only 3 vendors per category per region. To see my work  featured along-side two other talented & established photographers, Trent Bailey & Bryce Covey, just makes this honor that much more humbling. My heart is singing and dancing right now. There truly has been some amazing things happening behind the scenes with my boutique business that I can’t wait to share More…

Happy Film Photography Day!!

In honor of the first Film Photography Day declared by Lomography as being April 12, spurred me to share the origin of my heart for film photography. I love the creative freedom that digital photography allows me to have…. but there is something that gets my heart aflutter when it comes to the old school days of film photography. I love the anticipation as I wait for that package in the mail from the print lab to see the result of my work.  My photography days started back before I could even More…
